WORKSHOP BERGEN JUNE 2007. Historical museum, Bergen University

The ESF-workshop we present is mainly aimed at developing new pathways to overcome present androcentric and gender-biased cultural memories of the past. This will be undertaken from a comparative perspective including prehistory, history, anthropology, archaeology, ethnoarchaeology and approaches from sociology and education sciences. The main research focus will be centred on the prehistoric and early historic past, archaeological data being the main body of empirical information.
